I decided to take down my portfolio site and temporarily replace it with a introspective journal in the hopes that I might have a concrete record on theories and ideas that have come across my narrow field of vision. My inattention to detail and non-existent short-term memory has partially developed because of the my lack of effort in taking the time to articulate thoughts in a slow and careful manner. Since writing allows for the proper procedure of thinking, it was perhaps the most ideal medium for me to practice.

My hopes are as follows:

  1. To better understand the meaning of existence, knowledge, values and reason.
  2. To properly comprehend the theories of those who have inquired about the aforementioned matters.
  3. To adopt this careful process into my creative toolbox.

The name ‘hagia filosofia’ is a play on the name of the church/mosque in Istanbul, a monumental Byzantine tribute in history that has brought together people, conflict, and focus. Similarly, I hope this journal congregates thought with discourse.
